This weekend we underwent what we like to call “The List Challenge”. We picked something we’ve been dying to try from each section of The List - one restaurant, one store, one must see and one scene. Here was our Saturday agenda:

Restaurant: We started out our day with an outdoor Belgian waffle brunch at the ever so charming Petite Abeille. Translating to small bee, we were only slightly shocked when halfway through our meal we were joined by a not so “petite” bee trying to steal our belgian waffles.
The List Tip: Cash Only. Ferret friendly.

Goods: Sticking with the french theme we headed over to La Petite Coquette, a little lingerie shop in the East Village. After all, we need something to go along with our Pamela Love handcuffs…

Must See: The High Line is easily one of our favorite spots in Manhattan. This old elevated west side rail line turned beautiful park has breathtaking views lending itself to the perfect place for a stroll above the streets of Manhattan.
The List Tip: Stop by Lobster Place in Chelsea Market, grab a lobster roll or clam chowder and treat yourself to a mini picnic on the old train tracks.

Scene: To end the day we decided to stop at Ninth Ward in the East Village. Named after a section in New Orleans, Ninth Ward has a cosy feel complete with working fireplace, wood paneling, dim lighting and a relaxing garden.
The List Tip: Two for One drinks Mon- Fri, but watch out for the neighbors- If you are too loud in the garden they may come down in their bathrobe and slippers to scold you.
