They love Tokyo Fashion. And we’ve become converts as well working with LEATHER JAPAN 2012 for their after party at Hudson in New York. We also got a little insider scoop from our friends at LEATHER -

Lady Gaga’s visits her favorite stores - Candy and Dog - when in Japan. When she’s looking for heel-less shoes , she turns to designer Noritaka Tatehana, a 26 year old designer based out of Tokyo. She also picks up body tights and other clothes by Somarta.

Somarta is also popular with Madonna who selected the designer’s clothing for her back up dancers at last Sunday’s Super Bowl Performance.

Tatehana and Somarta are two of the 11 brands participating in LEATHER JAPAN 2012 and will be showing their collections at Hudson.
