Leap for love with this vintage postcard from 1912 created by artists Tom Wilson and Chris Byron.

According to a very antiquated tradition, women are supposed to take matters into their own hands and propose marriage on Leap Day. This “Ladies Privilege” was instituted in order to balance the traditional roles of men and women the way Leap Year balances the calendar.
