We got a chance to chat with Parisan duo Housse de Racket about their current North American tour including the inside scoop on their performance at Coachella and their recent San Francisco tourist moment.
Morgans: Who are you most looking forward to see at Coachella?
Housse de Racket: Well obviously we’re very excited about the Dr Dre/Snoop show. When we arrived in California few days ago, we played the Dre’s Chronicle Album, and it was just the right mood! Also, we’d be very happy to see the Black Keys, M83 and our parisian mates Justice!
Morgans: What does your festival attire look like?
Housse de Racket: We might try something special, something between classic and classy.
Morgans: When in San Francisco do you have a must visit spot?
Housse de Racket: We’ve never played SF ever! On our way to LA, we just had time to take pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, see the Lombard Street and eat at Mel’s dinner. A very touristic moment.
Morgans: What is your ideal venue to play at?
Housse de Racket: Few weeks ago, we played the Mohawk in Austin for SXSW, it was the very first show of our very first North American tour. We played outside, the night was hot and it was packed! So, it might have been our ideal venue…
Morgans: Do you have a pre show ritual?
Housse de Racket: Pierre always wash his hands before each gig. And we’ve got multiple hand checks and crazy dance moves!
