You’ve heard of the HighLine, but we bet you haven’t heard of the LowLine- a project from designers Dan Barasch and James Ramsey that aims to convert unused trolly space below Delancey Street into the world’s first underground park. With the help of donations from KickStarter, the Delancey Project is on it’s way to redefine the meaning of urban design. If approved it will be more than just an underground park, but a source for a new generation of green technology and solar technology allowing trees, plants and grasses to thrive indoors.
